His main task has been the creation of the Saint Mary's College which offers vocational training studies to 400 students in Agriculture, Commerce, Electricity, Soldering, General Mechanics, and is at present regarding a module for teaching plumbing. Furthermore, there is also the Social Centre, where those students not attaining the minimum grade to do vocational training, have the opportunity to be trained in Painting, Pottery and Leather working, embroidery, Sewing and Circus.
In a place as poor as Wukro, Angel, on his own, started to help people without resources.
At present, on top of developing care activities, he does environmental and economic work too (cowsheds, dairy, forest planting).
These activities have become so important that they actually mean one of the most important economic activities of the township.
Since Angel arrived in Wukro, a few years back, and from what started as a kind ofpersonal help with the financial aid from friends, family and acquaintances, up to the present time, there has been a growing number of projects which have become more and more complex, the economic resources have also increased and the financing bodies request also more and more.
The development attained by the community of Wukro has been possible thanks to the intervention of Angel Olaran, and this we must support, improve and increase.

Angel's work in Wukro: 

• Care activities to: 
  • People suffering from AIDS, TB, the elderly, unmarried mothers, widows, etc.
  • 1,200 orphan children: housing, food, education healthcare, etc.
• Health and Hygiene: He covers cleaning expenses of Hospital and Healthcare centre.
• Environment: reforestation and plans for it. Angel, with the help of bodies such as Caritas and the Regional Government of Gipuzkoa has already planted 40,000 trees; he also develops activities of organic refuse collection for composting, etc..
